Concrete Canoe

Concrete Canoe is an annual competition run by the American Society of Civil Engineers. It involves the construction of a canoe made of concrete with unique mix, structural, and aesthetic designs. Each school is required to write up a technical report and participate in a technical presentation on their canoe. Notre Dame has done well at its regional conference in the past number of years in the canoe competition. In 2023, Notre Dame placed third in the canoe competition at the 2023 Indiana-Kentucky Student Symposium at Western Kentucky University. The canoe's theme was "Canoena Matata."
